Since its creation by the French Government in 1992, ADIT is a major player in the set-up of the national business intelligence policy.
Its first clients are the biggest French companies that are engaged in worldwide competition. A range of services dedicated to SMEs and territorial agencies has also been created.
In addition ADIT has a service of diffusion of scientific and technological information in relation with the attachés for science in the French embassies.
In 2011, ADIT is partially privatized to create the European leader in Business Intelligence. Butler Capital Partners becomes, with the French State, the main shares holder of ADIT.
In 2015, BPI France signs an agreement in order to buy a minority share in ADITs capital.
This operation occurs in the frame of the reconfiguration of ADITs capital around Weinberg Capital Partners, Bpifrance and the State participation agency, in order to back the ambitious development plan of the company.
